Abstract

Cervical cancer affects more than 600,000 women a year worldwide. Since the launch of the World Health Organization (WHO) campaign for the eradication of this tumor, we have been called upon to adopt effective measures in terms of primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention. Screening at least 70% of women is an important part of the cervical cancer eradication strategy. In this aspect, how we are doing and what we can improve are points to which all political and medical spheres of our country must be committed.
