Abstract

Hemangiomas on the uterine cavity are rare and reported as being a differential diagnosis from other polypoid lesions of the uterus, including malignancy. This is a case of hemangioma with uterine bleeding, whose hysteroscopic findings were suggestive of an endometrial polyp. A literature review of uterine hemangiomas is presented, with emphasis on their biological behavior and treatment.
