Como eu trato a neoplasia intraepitelial vulvar

O câncer de vulva tem incidência de 2,5 casos por 100 mil mulheres/ano, preenchendo o critério de câncer raro, ou seja,
aquele cuja incidência é inferior a seis casos por 100 mil mulheres/ano. A forma invasora é precedida por lesões denominadas
neoplasias intraepiteliais vulvares (NIV), cuja nomenclatura tem variado ao longo dos anos, o que gerou confusão entre os
clínicos, especialmente no que se refere a condutas terapêuticas. Novas classificações foram propostas baseadas na morfologia
e na biologia molecular, uma vez que as modalidades de tratamento dependem das apresentações das lesões, como HPV
associadas ou HPV independentes. Opções de abordagem são discutidas.
